But kind of, because it is the New Year, and we can usually say that until about the 20th of January. But especially this year in Louisville, when the frozen phallus has turned our city into an ice skating rink with more snow on the way tomorrow. Too much liminal space in one stretch, if you ask me!!!


Like many people this time of year, I am looking back and reflecting, but it’s not because there’s a new calendar hanging in our kitchen. I’m looking back because I’m taking Jake’s advice.
We met riding bikes and being hungover at noon on most Sundays. On top of those interests, Jake is also an incredibly talented dancer (I was lucky enough to see him perform for the Louisville ballet before he moved back to Ohio to be with his sweetheart).
